School Shootings and the Damage Done

I’ve been taking pictures of HS student parking lot art in Texas since 2018. This is a sample from pics I took in April. At the time I didn’t associate it directly with school shootings – there are plenty of movie and tv crime procedurals featuring chalk body outline images. But these days I wonder. Beyond this possible example, how much damage are school shootings doing to students who never even experience them directly?
